Holly Bunch Christmas Tree Ornaments

 Coming Home
I have been waiting a long time.

The door is open,
The lamp shines on the oilcloth,
The old man's face hidden in light
Asleep.
The Door Standing Open
I am putting my words together for whatever intelligence there may be in the world. There is no other reality among men than this
intelligence....To be more than I thought I was--
a sensation utterly new to me...

That power we had felt flowing in us and through us could not, in the nature of things, be acutely conscious of us as individuals. It must come rather as wind comes to the trees of a forest, or as the ocean continues to murmur in the seashell
it has thrown ashore.
At the Point
Travelers long on the road
stop here for water and for the view.
Theri children run
through the young and old pines,
splashing in theneedles
or chasing the wild canaries, their light cries
receding in the aisles of shade.

The light is so simple
and steady,
as if tiny beaks
had opened a vein of pure sunlight in the forest,
and the fathers and mothers
stand looking down,
their lies
jumping at the base of their throast
and little words
unspocken for twenty or thirty years
cling to their lips like droplets of water.

In the valley the taut fences
stretch pitilessly to the horizon
and all those who want to be someplace else
must follow them.
The hawks and owls crufified on the wire
have long since returned to their own country,
and the mouse trembles in exstasy,
lost in the shadow of their wings.

Hither and Yon

"'Allo Bard who you after?"
"There was a tapestry, an old one-where's it gone?"
"What tapestry are you talking about?"
"This one!"
Hilda Bianca: "They're were dwarves I tell you-'peared out of no where-full beards-fierce eyes. I've never seen the like!"
Fisherman 1: "What are dwarves doing in these parts?"
Fisherman 2: "It's the prophecy"
Fisherman 1: "Prophecy?"
Fisherman 2: "The prophecy of Durin's Folk."
Bard: "Prophecy. Prophecy."
Durin Folk 1: "The old tales will come true-"
Durin Folk 2: "Vast, hopes of treasure!-"
Durin Folk 3: "Can it really be true?-"
Durin Folk 4: "The Lord of Silver Fountains-"
Bard: "The Lord of Silver Fountains. The King of Carvenstone-the King beneath the mountain-shall come into his own! And the bell shall ring in gladness-at the Mountain King's return, but all shall fail in sadness and the Lake will shine and burn.
Ed Sheeran "I See Fire"
"I See Fire"

Oh, misty eye of the mountain below
Keep careful watch of my brothers' souls
And should the sky be filled with fire and smoke
Keep watching over Durin's sons

If this is to end in fire
Then we should all burn together
Watch the flames climb high into the night

Calling out father oh
Stand by and we will
Watch the flames burn auburn on
The mountain side

And if we should die tonight
Then we should all die together
Raise a glass of wine for the last time

Calling out father oh
Prepare as we will
Watch the flames burn auburn on
The mountain side
Desolation comes upon the sky

Now I see fire
Inside the mountain
I see fire
Burning the trees
And I see fire
Hollowing souls
I see fire
Blood in the breeze
And I hope that you remember me

Oh, should my people fall
Then surely I'll do the same
Confined in mountain halls
We got too close to the flame

Calling out father oh
Hold fast and we will
Watch the flames burn auburn on
The mountain side
Desolation comes upon the sky

Now I see fire
Inside the mountain
I see fire
Burning the trees
I see fire
Hollowing souls
I see fire
Blood in the breeze
And I hope that you remember me

And if the night is burning
I will cover my eyes
For if the dark returns
Then my brothers will die
And as the sky is falling down
It crashed into this lonely town
And with that shadow upon the ground
I hear my people screaming out

Now I see fire
Inside the mountains
I see fire
Burning the trees
I see fire
Hollowing souls
I see fire
Blood in the breeze

I see fire (oh you know I saw a city burning out) (fire)
And I see fire (feel the heat upon my skin, yeah) (fire)
And I see fire (uh-uh-uh-uh) (fire)
And I see fire burn auburn on the mountain side

Turnstile

play a little kiss and tell
with poison pills
bitten in the valley of thirst
the body kills

i-i-i-i've got an ocean pearl
i-i-i see an open world
ocean pearl

you just have to whisper
promising the moon
if she dares to dream
make it true

i-i-i-i've got an ocean pearl
i-i-i see an open world
ocean pearl

it's what i wanted
cause i'm only going to this once
gonna wash me in your water
and put the "vive" back in "la difference"
yeah

i-i-i-i've got an ocean pearl
i-i-i-i'd die without my
ocean pearl

Electric Light Orchestra Last Train to London
It's always no it isn't.
The Shut-Eye Train
Come, mylittle one, with me!
There are wondrous sights to see
As the evening shadows fall;
In your pretty cap and gown,
Don't detain
The Shut-Eye train--
"Ting-a-ling!" the bell it goeth,
"Toot-toot!" the whistle bloweth,
And we hear the warning call:
"All aboard for Shut-Eye Town!"

Over hill and over plain
Soon will speed the Shut-Eye train!
Through the blue where bloom the stars
And the Mother Moon looks down
We'll away
To land of Fay--
Oh, the sights that we shall see there!
Come, my little one, with me there--
'Tis a goodly train of cars--
All aboard for Shut-Eye Town!

Swifter than a wild bird's flight
Through the realms of fleecy light
We shall speed and speed away!
Let the Night in envy frown--
What care we
How wroth she be!
To the Balow-land above us,
To the Balow-folk who love us,
Let us hasten while we may--
All aboard for Shut-Eye Town!

Shut-Eye Town is passing fair--
Golden dreams await us there;
We shall dram those dreams, my dear,
Till the Mother Moon goes down--
See unfold
Delights untold!
And in those mysterious places
We shall see beloved faces
And beloved voices hear
In the grace of Shut-Eye Town,

Heavy are your eyes, my sweet,
Weary are your little feet--
Nestle closer up to me
In your pretty cap and gown;
Don't detain
The Shut-Eye Train!
"Ting-a-ling!" the bell it goeth,
"Toot-toot!" the whistle bloweth,
Oh, the sights that we shall see!
All aboard for Shut-Eye Town!

The Wedding Ring

"Where to Mam?"
"Figuero, Figuero and Temple"
"Yes, Mam"
"Edie's Bar, indian territory"
"Delorca's territory too Mam"
"The Family owned almost all that section in the old days, but that's the way it goes with the old families bit by bit they sell off the land, but I never would of thought I'd see the last of the Delorca's to the grave-that I didn't, and me with seven grandchildren, all boys"
"And his only son died"
"Mam?"
"I said Mr. Delorca's only son died"
"Mam there's been no child born or died in the Delorca family boy or girl that I know of"
"Huh, course that was twenty years ago"
"Twenty years ago Mam? It's been forty years or more I've been driving the Delorca family, if they'd had a child I'd a known about it"
"They never had a child, a boy, when they were first married?"
"They certainly did not Mam"
"Well perhaps they were away, when it happened"
"No, Mam that first year, the first 2 or 3 years, after they were married as I remember well, they never left here, Mr. Delorca said he's shifted around enough in the service to last him quite a while"
"Thank you very much."
"Your welcome Mam."

Quote.  Cole: "Heavenly Father we call upon you in this hour of need for you are the shepherd that shall guide the wanderer through the desert. You are the light that shall be his beacon in the darkness and yours is the mighty sword that shall strike down his enemies for he is in the path of righteousness.
Amen"
